This is also a motorhome parking and/or service area in the commune of Saint-Julien-des-Landes, and fishing is permitted (remember to get a fishing permit from the Tourist Office).

For cycle tourists, this area is close to the Vendée Vélo "Les Achards / Brétignolles-sur-Mer" cycle path.
