The Vendee’s rolling countryside, full of history and many chateaux

Located in Puybelliard, near Chantonnay, the British owned Chateau de Puybelliard can accommodate up to 15 people. An ideal location for large groups.
The Manoir de Ponsay dates back to 1492 and has been in the same family for eleven generations. The Manor house itself, has an interesting past, being partly burnt down during the Vendean war and then restored after the Revolution. It has five rooms and a studio as well as an unusual dovecote with a well-preserved revolving ladder.
The Chateau du Breuil’s accommodation consists of four guest rooms and four attractive gites, located in converted “Napoleon III” style outbuildings. Their decor has an Italian influence. In addition, an 18th century style decoration is also present. The old stained-glass windows and sublime woodwork add a comfortable warm atmosphere.
