The general atmosphere:
The Huttopia campsite is one of a kind. It enjoys an exceptional location in the heart of a pine forest with direct access to the beach. Unique also, due to its commitments to the quality ecotourism approach, offering holidays as close as possible to nature. Located in the national forest, the campsite is one of 11 campsites in France to adhere to the National Forestry Office “camping charter”. It is, therefore, not a campsite like the others! Here, there is a true campsite spirit, one of simplicity, friendliness, authenticity, and it is close to nature. Particular importance is attached to the sanitary facilities, which partly guarantee a successful camping holiday! For this reason, you will find modern, comfortable, sanitary facilities, designed using simple materials.

Accommodation:

We offer 3 types of accommodation:

• Classic Canvas Tent - 4 people (20 m²): Mounted on a wooden floor, the “Classic Canvas” and “Wood” tents, have a large wooden terrace. Ideal for 4 people, this tent has 2-bedroom areas: one with a double bed (140 x 200 cm), one with 2 single beds (80 x 190 cm). The tent is fully equipped for camping. It has a kitchen area with fridge, crockery, two hotplates, storage space, and an outdoor barbecue.
• Virtual tour Classic Canvas Tent - 5 people (25 m²): Same description as the 4-person tent with 3 single beds in the 2nd bedroom.
• Virtual tour Canvas and Wood tent - 5 people (22 m²): Same description as the 5-person tent with 1 bedroom with 1 double bed 140x200 and 1 bedroom with 3 single beds 60X200.

Going Camping with a baby? No problem, its easy! The campsite lends all the necessary equipment free of charge (cots and highchairs). Furthermore, the sanitary facilities have baby changing areas and family bathrooms.

A bicycle paradise:

From the campsite, you can join up with the salt marshes via the Jacobsen jetty. From here there is a magnificent panoramic view of the Müllembourg marshes, an ornithological nature reserve and the Château de Noirmoutier.
On the other side, while cycling along the numerous paths from the “Bois de la Chaize” towards the Plage des Dames, a variety of early 19th century villas are hidden amongst the trees.  These sumptuous dwellings as well as its famous beach huts, have preserved the retro charm of the resorts.

The restaurant:

The snack caravan offers simple and good food which includes chips, homemade pizzas, or cold drinks. Each morning the village bakery delivers fresh bread and “viennoiserie” (pastries), which need to be ordered the day before. Choose your breakfast option from: tea, coffee, orange juice, toast and pastries... so you don't have to prepare anything.

Equipment Hire deposit: 90 €

Tourist tax to be paid on site.

BOOKING:

Reservations by phone on +33 (0)2 51 62 76 82 or by email at resa@vendee-tourisme.com. A 25% deposit is required when booking. The final balance needs to be paid 30 days before your stay. Booking fees: € 15 per booking. Methods of payment accepted: credit card (except Amex), bank transfer.
