The French wine region of "Terroir de Brem sur Mer"

A Wine tour of 31km with a sea breeze and salty note

This French wine tour invites you to discover the Vendée’s gastronomy, the local heritage and the Fiefs Vendéens AOC wines. The circuit begins in the heart of Brem sur Mer, near the church, which is listed as a historic monument. Setting out (by bike or in the car) in the direction La Gachère, a former small fishing village, where you can savour some of our cupped oysters. Accompanied by a small glass of white AOC wine from Brem, with a salty taste.
On your journey, why not have lunch in a typical Vendean restaurant or visit a wine cave. At the end of your walk, you can relax on one of the many sandy beaches of Brétignolles sur Mer: les Dunes or the more family friendly Normandelière beach.

The "Côte de Lumière" wine tour region

A french wine tour of 39km, with time to wine down!

This circuit invites you to discover the Pays des Olonnes, to the south of Brem sur Mer. This loop promises you a day of nature and sport. Leaving Brem sur Mer, head towards the fishing village of La Gachère. Here you can appreciate the changing colours of the Côte de Lumière’s landscapes: salt marshes, vast beaches, beautiful sand dunes, small villages... where you can even try fishing for bass before heading off again. You can also try your hand at stand-up paddle or kayaking in the marshes near Olonne! Now it’s time take a gourmet break, to sample some of the famous Brioche Vendéenne while enjoying a view over the marshes. And finally, why not stop off at one of the many wine estates and taste Brem’s Fiefs Vendéen wines. Last stop is at the ornithological nature reserve at L’Ile d’Olonne, where you can marvel at this beautiful natural environment.
