400 m² of exhibition space invites you to discover dragonflies and their environment, the Yon valley. The Maison des Libellules welcomes you within the walls of a former presbytery, in a contemporary building of high environmental quality.
Located in the heart of the Yon valley at Rives-de-l'Yon (Chaillé-sous-les-Ormeaux), the Maison des Libellules is a centre for environmental education and discovery of the Yon valley. In summer, it offers a whole range of nature activities and outings to discover the Yon valley.
With its 400 m² of permanent and temporary exhibitions and 2 hectares of natural gardens, visitors can discover the fascinating world of dragonflies, and in fine weather take advantage of special observation opportunities between ponds and meadows. The Maison des Libellules also offers a range of self-guided games. Test your senses at the sensory table and on the barefoot trail. Can you identify the different textures? If you're feeling more adventurous, climb to the top of the climbing pole or let the "infernal" spinning top upset your bearings! You'll also find games made of solid Robinia wood, balance games and dynamic games: stilts, a beam... Finally, will you dare to take your place on the Leprechauns' throne?
