The adventure of this aquaculture farm, located just a stone's throw from the Passage du Gois, began in 1955 with the conversion of the fish marshes into oyster beds. In 1999, a new project was born: to rehabilitate a salt works that had been abandoned since the 1960s. Since then, the farm's work has revolved around 3 environmentally-friendly production methods, harmonising and following each other through the seasons: the production of imperial prawns, the growing of oysters in oyster beds and the traditional harvesting of salt, flower of salt and samphire.
