Les Floralies Internationales – one of the most prestigious events to be held in the Vendée
Les Floralies Internationales - France 2024 will be blossoming in the Vendée! The 13th edition of this renowned event will be held at the Logis de la Chabotterie, in Saint Sulpice le Verdon, Montréverd, in the Vendée. So, save the dates: The Floralies Internationales 2024 will be held from 17th to 26th May 2024.
Les Floralies 2024 – A renown international event
The Floralies Internationals is a major floral event held every five years. The event, which attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors from all over the world at each edition. It was created in 1956 to celebrate the richness and beauty of the plant world in all its diversity. Since then, the Floralies have become an essential meeting place! The next edition of Les Floralies Internationales - France is scheduled for 2024, and it promises to be even more impressive than ever before, with artistic floral and plant displays around the theme of "Flower Games"! The Olympic Games held in France will be one of the sources of inspiration for Les Floralies 2024, in the Vendée.
Since its creation in the mid-1950s, the event has attracted some 3 million visitors from the four corners of the globe. This year, the Floralies are inviting partners from all over the world to represent a game that is typical of their country.
Les Floralies Internationales - France is one of the most prestigious events in France and Europe.
Floralies 2024 - Never seen anything like it before!
For this first edition outside the cite des Ducs, in Nantes, Les Floralies Internationales - France is proposing a "Flower Games" theme inspired by the events of 2024. The event will be organised around 5 categories:
- Water games: a fine mix of wetland and aquatic plants, water walls and aqueducts.
- Childhood games: colour, vitality, carefree fun, and plants in perfect harmony!
- Intellectual games: put your logical mind to the test in this area. A chance to discover new plants!
- Garden games: contrast, perspective, illusions... all geared towards understanding the challenges of tomorrow's environment.
- Physical games: "courageous" plants with an artistic vision, to represent the ability to bounce back and resilience. All used to symbolise a sport, a challenge, or a performance.
Every evening, come together for a night-time show you won't want to miss! The show will be a series of scenes based on the beauty of plants, amplified to make the "Flower Games" ring out, dance and be celebrated. The show is performed every evening at 8.30pm and on 26/05 at 6.30pm.
The Logis de la Chabotterie, with its history, its aura, and its exceptional setting, is completely consistent with the guiding principles of the Floralies 2024:
- To invite visitors to experience a change of scenery,
- To reconnect naturally with the earth and the most beautiful things it produces.
We're expecting 200 partners, from all walks of life, spread over the 48 hectares of the estate. Once again, the Vendée is proving that it is a land of great events.
