Description
Our farm welcomes horses to pasture and raises organic chickens at La Chapelle-Hermier in the Vendée.
I rear organic chickens and guinea fowl on my small farm. Concerned about their daily well-being, I keep my poultry on grassy runs with trees. As well as the label, I provide them with every possible comfort to meet their natural needs and ensure their good health, using biodynamic, aromatherapy and phytotherapy techniques.
I also welcome horses in pasture. The facilities include a riding arena and saddlery. The horses are herded on 7ha of meadows (2 sites, one on the farm and one 500m from the farm by a track) with access to an open stall in winter and hay as much as you like. The land is drained and dry in winter, shaded and damp in summer (access to a stream and two ponds).
- Direct farm sales: every Friday from 4pm to 7pm and roast chickens with potatoes every Sunday morning (booking required) from 11am to 12pm, from early April to late November and for the festive season.
